Acoem Australasia Service & Calibration expands operations to welcome new technician to our ISO 17025 & NATA-accredited Centre

As the Service, Repair & Calibration Centre – located at Acoem Australasia’s headquarters in Melbourne, Australia – continues to grow and expand its operations, there have been a few changes to our technical team.
New expertise joins the team
Vimaldeep Dhaliwal, known as Vimal, joined the Service & Calibration Team in October 2022 as a Service & Calibration Technician. A welcome addition to the group, Vimal had spent over 30 years working with Telstra in long haul transmission systems and has thorough knowledge and expertise in SOP (standard operating procedures), systems servicing and documentation management.
After only a couple of months in his new role as Service & Calibration Technician, Vimal is enjoying being part of a close-knit team, building on his existing skills in systems maintenance and working with Acoem customers.
“I’ve been receiving exceptional direction from Leigh [Acoem Australasia Service Manager] and great hands-on training, advice and assistance from other technicians,” said Vimal.
“Learning something new every day is really gratifying and the fact that Acoem is close to home is an added bonus,” he added.
Festive season reminder
With the holiday season fast approaching, we would like to remind our customers that the Acoem Australasia Service, Repair & Calibration Centre will be closed from 4pm AEDT, Wednesday, 21 December 2022 to Friday, 6 January 2023 inclusive.
Normal operations will resume Monday, 9 Jan 2023.
