Bogota El Dorado airport chooses Acoem

Every year, Bogota’s International Airport traffic increases by 5% despite an ever denser urban environment. Monitoring the airport noise has become a major issue. To meet local regulation requirements and establish a communication plan with residents, the airport wants to install an environmental impact management system.

Acoem and his Colombian partner TEKCEN have been selected for the deployment of a sound management system and aircraft trajectories. Noise monitoring will be provided by 31 Acoem CUBE Smart Noise Terminal stations deployed around the airport (25 fixed stations and 6 mobile stations). All data will be centralized in software that will provide accurate noise statistics.
