Dekati® DLPI+ Low-Pressure Impactor

The Dekati® DLPI+ low-pressure impactor is 14-stage cascade impactor used to determine airborne particle mass size distribution. It classifies and collects particles into 14 size fractions in a 16 nm – 10 μm range. In each size fraction, particles are collected on 25mm collection substrates that are weighed before and after measurement to calculate gravimetric size distribution. It can also perform a chemical analysis of the size classified particles.

It shares its impactor design with the Dekati® ELPI®+ (Electrical Low-Pressure Impactor) so can be easily upgraded into a full ELPI®+ system for real-time particle size distribution measurements.

A high temperature (HT) version is available that can be heated up to 180 °C for direct sampling of high temperature aerosols.
