Our recruitment process has a number of stages and each plays an important part in determining the best fit for you as the candidate and Acoem Australasia, the business. We conduct our recruitment in a structured, yet personable way that is both fair and consistent.
Vacancies are listed on the Work at Acoem section of the Acoem website.
Your application will be carefully considered and assessed against our selection criteria and you may be contacted by phone for a brief, informal preliminary discussion.
Should your application be unsuccessful, we will let you know by email. Often, we review a large number of applications for multiple vacancies and the journey of finding the right person can be a lengthy one, so we thank you in advance for your patience.
Our recruitment involves an interview process that typically entails a combination of behavioural and technical questions. Interviews allows us to learn more about your experience and aspirations, and for you to learn more about the role and Acoem Australasia.
Personality & abilities assessments
If you are invited for a second interview, you may be asked to complete one or more online psychometric assessments. These include a personality questionnaire and depending on the role, there may also be an ability assessment. A member of our Human Resources team will provide you with more details at the time.
Speaking to your referees is an essential part of our process. Please provide details of at least two work-related referees at or before your second interview.
If you are successful, we will make a verbal offer of employment and follow up with a written employment contract along with a Deed of Confidentiality.
We appreciate that you will have put a great deal of time and effort into preparing your application and for some, the interview process can be an anxious time. Whether or not you are successful, our aim is to make your experience with Acoem Australasia a professional and positive one.
