Acoem solidifies its future with move to new Australasian headquarters & Service Innovation Hub

Acoem, a respected leader in environmental and reliability monitoring, is ushering in a new era in its nearly 50-year history in Australia.

After nearly two decades at its current home in Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield, Acoem Australasia is relocating its headquarters to a more fit-for-purpose premises at 19-21 Brenock Drive, Ferntree Gully to better serve its growing customer base.

Formerly the Australian headquarters of iconic brand Tupperware, Acoem will be breathing new life into the classic 1960s Brenock Park Drive location. The site is undergoing extensive refurbishment, including sustainable landscaping, a six-star energy rating and modern fittings upgrades to ensure a long and prosperous future for the business.

In addition to a larger and more flexible warehouse, the single-storey main building will also house state-of-the-art research labs, offices, meeting rooms and the NATA/ISO 17025-accredited Acoem Service and Calibration Centre – with its CSIRO-designed wind tunnel.

Showcasing innovation and superior support capabilities

A stand-alone building is being refitted to become Acoem’s new Service Innovation Hub. This dynamic space will provide customers and partners with greater insight into how Acoem develops its technology and products to deliver better outcomes for industry and the environment. Visitors can experience live demonstrations of Acoem solutions, test its facilities, and see equipment capabilities firsthand in a specially designed area.

From one iconic brand to another

The move to an existing building, rather than a new one, aligns perfectly with Acoem’s commitment to repurposing and recycling,” commented Acoem Australasia Managing Director Damian Bryant. “It highlights the benefits of reusing what was once an innovation hub for Tupperware and transforming it into a 21st-century center of technological excellence.”

“A tangible representation of what Acoem stands for, the new headquarters will be a place our staff will be proud to work from, offering all the amenities of a professional, global company in an environmentally sustainable setting. We look forward to welcoming our customers and partners to our new premises and continuing to provide the highest quality of service and support for environmental and reliability monitoring,” he added.

Importantly, the new headquarters will also be an employment hub for the area, returning workers to a site that has remained unused for several years. With close to 90 staff working at the current site (and dozens more located at Acoem offices across Australia), the new Acoem Australasia Headquarters and Service Innovation Hub will inject a much-needed economic boost to the area. Continuing the Acoem legacy, the expansion will also solidify the company’s position as a major player in the Australasian environmental and reliability monitoring markets.

Business continuity with a smooth transition

The new Acoem Australasia Headquarters will officially be fully operational on Monday 2 February 2026. While our physical operations and service centre relocates, all other departments and teams will remain fully operational and available to support you throughout the transition.
