Introducing the Fusion Essential: Your new go-to tool for handheld, on-the-spot measurements

As part of Acoem’s ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its environmental acoustics customers and ensure that it produces a device specific to serve every application, we have developed a specialised version of our trusted Fusion sound level meter.

Making Fusion more accessible & affordable for every application

Already the instrument of choice of environmental and acoustic consultants around the world as the only IEC 61672 Class 1 sound level meter/analyser with a choice of trigger, advanced indicators, aircraft indicators and push data options, the new Fusion Essential includes almost all the functionality of its namesake.

Integrating seamlessly with Acoem’s streamlined ecosystem and leveraging dBtrait software for analysis and reporting, where Essential varies is in its microphone which is a Class 1 type-approved with 40 CE microphone. This microphone does not include a water-repellent membrane as it was not designed for extended outdoor use. Another deliberate difference is no built-in 4G modem. The combination of these two design changes allows Acoem to provide the Fusion Essential at a more affordable price, developed to specifically cater to customers who will be using it as a handheld device for on-the-spot, indoor and short-term outdoor regulatory or environmental control measurements.

Ideal for smaller and on-off projects

For consultants and companies that have a combination of long-term and smaller projects, Fusion Essential is the perfect solution, allowing you to use tools you are already familiar with and the software you’ve come to rely on, keeping your fleet of instruments uniform.

If you are not sure if you need full connectivity but still want to take advantage of the Fusion’s extensive capabilities, the Essential is certified tamper-proof and provides an entry-level option of a global leader in its class, and is just as reliable and accurate as the original Fusion.

Manual connectivity to any device

All your measurements will be visible on built-in screen, while capturing your data remains effortless with transmission easily performed via a cable or the Essential’s internal SD card to generate reporting.
