SailBri Cooper Inc. XACT® 920

Continuous water analyser for metals

The SailBri Cooper Inc. XACT® 920 system uses reel-to-reel (RTR) filter tape sampling and non-destructive X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis to monitor aqueous samples for user-selected metals.

It operates by blending a measured amount of unknown sample with a known amount of internal standard which is continuously nebulised, evaporated and collected onto the filter tape. The liquid sample is aerosolised, removing the water, while metal salts are concentrated on the filter tape to detect limits in the low parts per billion (ppb) ranges for 65 elements.

The Xact® 920 monitoring system can simultaneously identify and measure multiple metals in liquid samples to provide data for use in:

  • Waste water & water treatment plants
  • Industrial & mining influent / effluent
  • Drinking water
  • Food & beverage industry
  • Surface water.
