Dynamate®

Acoem blast monitoring station

The automated Acoem blast monitoring system includes a network of remote blast monitoring stations, made up of Dynamate® units. Each Dynamate® has a dynamic triggering program built into its software which allows you to identify one or more Early Warning Units (EWUs) – usually those closest to the blast epicentre – to act as the trigger source for other units.

Features

Fully integrated system – trigger all units from one event
100% blast capture* due to histogram search facility with "after the event" searches and data capture. [*capture rate as of Sep 2015].
Continuously records over pressure signals (500 or 1000 Hz) in an endless sample buffer loop independent of other software processes
At the maximum sample rate, the buffer stores up to 10 days of air blast and vibration data.
Six weeks of data storage
Results available via SMS and/or email to authorised users within minutes of the blast and can be downloaded from a secure website for further processing.
Timely access to data
Assess breaches in exceedance levels, perform test triggers to check conditions before proceeding and no minimum downtime between capture events.
No need for 'Line of Sight’ considerations
Units can be located anywhere that has available communication networks, with major carriers guaranteeing coverage in 99% of locations for reliable high-speed data transfer.
Data security on the go
Results and data are only available to authorised users and can be downloaded or viewed anytime at work, home or on the road.

Construction monitoring

Construction monitoring generally requires the monitoring of three ground and one air blast parameters.  While Dynamate®‘s tri-axial geophone and air blast microphone meet these requirements, the rapid availability of data following an event also ensures compliance officers can access results immediately.

Highly-qualified Acoem technicians perform detailed Dynamate® programming so all units are fully configured when delivered to the construction site. There is zero downtime between capture events and 100% data capture, so there is no need to stagger blasts and slow the progress of your project.

Fence-line monitoring

Fence-line monitoring allows mine operators to monitor dust and gas emissions. Still, more importantly, it allows them to pinpoint the sources of this pollution and reduce its impact on surrounding areas.

We design and supply systems capable of determining environmental impact from a local source such as a mine or quarry site immediately following a blast. These systems utilise a variety of vibration monitors, particulate monitors, wind speed and direction sensors, and Acoem’s Data Acquisition System which can calculate the difference between the emission concentration and the downwind emission concentration performing calculations to determine the actual site contribution.

Acoem fence-line monitoring includes:

  • Wind speed & direction sensors
  • Real-time dust & gas monitoring linked to wind sensors
  • Powerful software that maps pollution concentration, direction & distance (to source)
  • Dynamate® station data integration allows data from multiple locations to be combined, processed & presented in easy-to-understand reports.

Applications

Whether the project is above or below ground, on a construction, demolition, mining or quarry site; accurate blast monitoring improves blasting efficiency and helps organisations comply with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.

Fully integrated blast monitoring ecosystem
