The Synspec GC955 series of gas chromatographs (GCs) offers top line, flexible analysers for low ppb to ppt range analysis of up to 40 compounds in one analyser.

The system can be supplied with four different detectors with the ability to incorporate two within a single GC. A wide choice of separation columns and temperature programming is available. This analyser is also suited for applications measuring up to % concentrations.

The GC955 is ideal for continuous monitoring and measuring of methane and non-methane hydrocarbons; benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX); mercaptans and sulfides; and ozone precursors.

Range

GC955 118 methane/THC analyser: Fast mid-range measurements in urban and industrial zones, it has a compact oven with a column that separates methane from other hydrocarbons and features an FID detector for two distinct peaks: methane and total non-methane hydrocarbons (TNMHC)
GC955 601 BTEX analyser: Monitoring benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) and other hydrocarbons in ambient air. It can simultaneously detect and measure up to 40 different components with customisable settings
GC955 810 mercaptan analyser: Monitoring sulfur compounds in ambient air, it detects two prominent groups of sulfur compounds (mercaptans and sulfides) but additional components such as benzene can be added. It has a built-in cooled pre-concentration system and PID detector
GC955 611/811 ozone precursor analyser: Combines two gas analysers for online continuous monitoring of ozone precursors in the ambient air from C2 up to C5 (811) and hydrocarbons from C6 up to C12 (611). Nearly all US EPA PAMS list compounds can be measured with high accuracy.
