As a Reliability Sales Engineer at Acoem UK, your daily mission will encompass a blend of sales, technical support, and relationship-building activities, all aimed at promoting and enhancing the adoption of Acoem’s reliability solutions. Here’s a detailed breakdown of your day-to-day tasks:
Sales planning and execution
- Develop strategic sales plans tailored to your territory to meet or exceed targets
- Identify potential clients through industry events, networking, cold calling, and emailing
- Generate and evaluate leads, prioritising them according to their potential for conversion
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas
- Utilise innovative sales tactics, including cold calling and warm outreach, to generate leads.
- Support in developing annual action plans and targets, and ensure their implementation and monitoring.
Client engagement and research
- Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to discuss their needs and present Acoem’s solutions
- Deliver informative and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of Acoem’s laser alignment systems and other reliability tools
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their challenges and requirements
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive research to gain valuable insights.
Solution proposal and sales conversion
- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to propose the most suitable Acoem products and services
- Create and present customised proposals and quotations that address client-specific requirements
- Engage in negotiations to finalise contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
Technical support and training
- Provide primary technical support, guiding clients in initial troubleshooting of Acoem products
- Conduct training sessions to ensure clients are proficient in equipment usage and grasp its benefits.
Administrative duties
- Maintain comprehensive records in Salesforce, logging all activities, interactions, and progress for accuracy
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales performance, market feedback, and client interactions.
Travel
- Travel within your designated territory to meet clients, conduct assessments, and attend industry events as required.
