Eligible machines include pumps, fans, agitators, air coolers, gearboxes and cylinders or rollers (including drive motors). Of course, other types of machine can also be included, and will be subject to a special tariff depending on their complexity.

What does one-day on-site installation assistance involve?

As part of this service, Acoem familiarizes itself with the equipment to be remotely monitored, locates the position of the sensors and helps you define the layout of the communication boxes. The first sensors are positioned together using glued bases. At the end of this intervention, you’ll need to :

  • Complete the installation of the sensors using the glue bases supplied. In the long term, we recommend that you make tapped holes in place of the glued bases for better fixing.
  • Complete the installation and power supply of the communication boxes.

When will my machines be remotely monitored?

Acoem undertakes to supply the necessary equipment and to assist you with on-site installation within 4 weeks of receiving your order. Remote monitoring starts automatically as soon as the communication box(es) are supplied with 230 Vac and the sensors are installed.

Subscription starts 2 weeks after Acoem’s installation assistance.

What is the autonomy of wireless sensors?

Wireless sensors are powered by replaceable batteries that last up to 2 years. The remaining battery life is monitored by Acoem. When battery life is low, Acoem sends you new batteries for replacement. Replacing the batteries is very simple, and a detailed tutorial is provided to guide you.
